• Our Fabulous Felted Bag Class has been rescheduled for May 25th and June 8th, 2010.  This is a two day, 4 hour class in which you will learn to make the fabulous felted bags you’ve admired at Gotta Knit! Learn about the art of felting, how to determine how much you have to knit to get your desired size, how to create the beautiful embellishments for your bag, make handles, and sew in lining.  Once you’ve made your bag you’ll want to try your hand at ipod, cell phone, and computer cases!  Felting is the perfect method for creating these fun projects.

• We are hosting our  Second Annual New York Stash Exchange! Bring your stash of yarns to Gotta Knit! to trade with fellow knitters. You’ll be exchanging your treasures with other knitters to spice up your collection, inspire a new project,  or freshen up an old idea.  Goldie and Laura will be on hand to make design suggestions.  We’ll even give you a free pattern to use your limited edition, one of a kind, new found gems.  This event was a huge success last year so don’t miss out!
